High advancedOne step away from performance padel.
Choose your level and you will see where you can be.
You've never played padel, or any racket sport before.
You're just starting out, and hitting the ball is still a challenge. Movement, coordination and timing all feel new, and that's totally fine.
This is where it all begins.
You're starting to get the feel for the game.
Most of your shots go in, but there's still very little control: the ball often lacks direction, speed or intention.
You understand the basic positions and movements, but timing and consistency are still developing. With good guidance and practice, improvement can come quickly.
You already have some solid basics.
You can keep a short rally going, start using the walls, and have a general idea of how to position yourself.
You understand the rhythm of the game, and you're starting to use different types of shots, even if execution isn't perfect yet.
You're becoming a complete player.
You can defend, volley, smash, lob and read the game with more confidence. Movement is more fluid, and you can play long points with a clear plan.
Your consistency is better, and you're starting to make smarter decisions on court.
You're solid in every area of the game.
You handle fast shots, recover from tough situations, and can vary your play. You know how to control tempo, use tactical lobs and defend corners.
Your game is reliable, and padel is now a sport you fully enjoy and compete in.
You have a deep understanding of the game. You anticipate what's coming, play with strategy, and execute most shots with control.
You adapt your game to different opponents, and you know how to build points, work as a team, and handle pressure.
Mistakes are fewer, and your style is clear.
You're a high-level amateur with strong technical, tactical and physical skills. You compete regularly, train with purpose, and take the game seriously.
You can dominate rallies, handle fast-paced situations, and read the court instinctively.
You're one step away from performance-level padel.

Choose your level first.

That means
You win a tournament in ?.
or
You go head to head with target category players.
Choose your level first.
Why are you stuck in your current level?
Because of one of these reasons (or maybe a couple, or even all of them at the same time):
01TechniqueYou think technique is everything, so you keep fixing your forehand and forget the rest.On court
02TacticYou play without a plan. And when you have one, you don't follow it.On court
03Game IntelligenceYou don't notice what is happening, on and off the court, so you can't choose the right answer in the moment. On & off court
04PhysicalYour legs are gone in the third set, and your padel goes with them.Off court
05MentalAt 5 all you stop playing to win and start playing not to lose.Off court
06SocialYou and your partner don't talk between points. Same match, two different plans.Off court
07WellnessYou sleep badly and eat whatever you find, and then ask your body to answer in the match.Off court
08Personal growthYou play every week, but you never stop to check what you learned.Off court
If you are doing these things, let me tell you, you are a ball hitter.
How can you become a padel player instead?
During 6 months, I will give you the tools and I will assist you personally to:
Understand the game
Know when you have the initiative, when to hold and when to attack.
Play with a plan
A plan for every pair you face, and the discipline to stick to it when the score gets tight.
Keep your technique simple
A grip, a flat ball and a shoulder rotation that hold for a whole match.
Look after the other 22 hours
The habits off court that decide how far your padel can go.
Keep your head when it gets tight
At 5 all, you stick to your plan instead of playing not to lose.
Become your own coach
Read the match, design the plan, stick to the plan, perform. At the end, you do not need me.
30 in the classroom and 24 on court. Everything I teach, in the order I teach it.
How padel works: the 4 principles, Game Intelligence and the red, yellow and green balls.
Simple technique: the 6 steps behind every shot, the grip, flat and shoulder rotation.
The real game: get out from the back, win the net, and attack only when it pays.
Become your own coach: a plan before the match, three questions after it.

It doesn't matter where these players were from, there is a pattern that is shared worldwide:
They don't understand the game, and they don't work outside of the court.
In order to make my job easier, I had to find a way of understanding how padel works and how I can help players to improve, and that is when I developed my own padel academy, The Padel Method.
As its name says, we teach under our own methodology, and the most important thing is why, not what.
I won't tell you what to do. I will give you the insights so you can understand why, and then you decide, not me.
Our first year of academy we were based in Jakarta.
Chifumi Sato
There I had the pleasure to meet Chifumi Sato, a Japanese padel player that wanted to take this sport seriously.
During this year training together, she reached top 180 in the world. She does not have the best physical conditions to do this: she is 1.48 m tall.
However, she understood what the sport was about, and she worked outside of the court as well (which I believe is even more important).
Players who have trained with me
Prama Hadiwidjojo
You encouraged me to solve fewer problems during the point and trust the game more. That advice was clear, practical, and very helpful. It truly landed, and it has changed the way I see and will play the game.
Anoop Kumar
What was different this time is learning how to coach myself in the future, which is something I didn't learn at previous coaching sessions. Don't think twice.
Fernando Castro
When I saw the program, playing was only a third of it, and I thought it was too little. But the mental part, the concepts, the conversations and the video analysis are maybe where I learned the most.
If that is what you think, you are right. There is no reason for you to join.
I do not have much time. I am usually quite busy.
The program has two parts. First, the videos: you learn the method so we speak the same language. After that, it is all applying and iterating. I built it to be as practical as possible. There is no filler in it. Everything that is there matters.
Is this a good investment?
Only you can judge that. But have no doubt about one thing: everything in here is worth its weight in gold.
How does it work? How do I join?
You pay. You get an email with your access. We start working together.
Do I really have to film myself?
Yes. Your phone, from behind the court, and that is all.
I already have a coach.
Good. See me as the one looking at the whole picture and setting the direction. I assess you, I find the priorities, I tell you what matters and what to work on, and you follow the plan. If you already have a padel coach, a physical coach or a mental coach, even better: they will make your life easier. If you do not, you work the plan on your own and I am on the side for when you need me.
I am left handed. I play on the right. I started four months ago. I play outdoors. My racket weighs 367 grams. Does it work for me?
It works for anyone who wants to learn how to play padel. I have been doing this my whole life. It is a method I have built over the last years by asking questions, staying curious and learning from the best coaches, players and professionals in this sport. It has been a bit exhausting, because I am a bit obsessive. Now you get to enjoy it.
Is this for me if I only play for fun and do not care about results?
No. In that case I am not the coach who can help you, and The Padel Method is not the academy for you.
How often do you answer my questions?
I answer when I can. If you are going to expect fast answers and get angry at me when they do not come, please do not join.
Six months, twelve, or twelve plus the TPM Experience?
My grandmother used to say the more sugar, the sweeter. Same thing here.
Can I pay in instalments?
No.
I have read the whole page and I still have doubts.
If you need to understand something better before joining, like how the weekly review works or how you pay, contact me. If you still do not know whether this program will help you level up your padel, this is not for you.
